I only watched that Texas Chainsaw Massacre the Next Generation once. Thought it was weird. Very pricey to purchase this one

I picked that up on Blu-ray - something like $28 - just to ensure I could watch the uncut version for my first-time viewing.

I have to say that while the movie wasn't necessarily God-awful, it really wasn't worth it either. :P

Tigg getting 4K Hellraiser made me have to say, I recently watched Se7en in 4K, and I highly recommend it because it be popping in 4K, Fincher and the cinematography is awesome, but it does change the vibe of the film somewhat being so vibrant compared the bleak darkness of VHS/DVD. I'm definitely seeing things I never did before, and the mid 90's lower budget shows with Sloth, in the darkness you didn't see how fake some shit was. And Gwyneth Paltrow and Pitt's piercing blue eyes REALLY pop now, Gwyneth looking particularly sweet and angelic in all that darkness.

Anyhow, Se7en is almost a perfect movie for me, not much I would change. For me it's especially good because there's not much action to keep you engaged really, it's mainly a character piece tapping into these 3 people in one fucked week.

4k is gonna be my limit I think. Our eyes don't see in 4K so it almost makes movies cartoonish in a way. For dark, ambient flicks with lots of special effects, I think 4K is great. And I also love how physical media often releases a bluray/4k combo.

Not just Hellraiser in 4k but the first 4 Hellraiser films in 4k. What motivated me most was getting Hellraiser III in this collection

I own less than 10 movies in 4K. I don’t see the need to convert all my blu rays. Plus often these 4K disk skip or freeze for no reason.

I don't have freezing or skip issues with 4k, but I do see a good difference from Blu Ray (not as much as a jump from DVD to Blu Ray though)

As much crap as I've given Next Generation over the years, I've always had Matt as a footnote of awesomeness in the movie. He's crazy good in it.
