Seems like it's surging again around here too. I haven't been hit yet (aside from the one time last year, when shockingly the guards were down), but I'm still masking on my bus commutes.
Some good news. Though I know HMF has a history of being vocal about not giving a shit about awards (aside from a handful of members other than me, that is), I did find out I won a book award yesterday at Scribble's Worth for Best Cover of 2022. I wasn't even aware I was inconsideration, so the recognition feels nice, and all that hard work in doing everything myself is noticed.
