Pretty damn good. I called one of the twists way ahead of time, but I just got off a binge of Twin Peaks so that type of twisty shit was already on my mind, but the main reveal was probably underexplained. I need more viewings to grasp it. It's not that I don't get it, I just think it was more complicated than how it was summed up. I believe I liked it more than Get Out, but will probably need a fresh watch of that too. There is still some comedy, but it's natural real life comedy rather than slapstick or even Marvel insert-joke-here stuff. I definitely support an early Oscar campaign for Lupita.

I saw Us last night and it's a very good horror movie. But as is too often case, it struggles with the challenge of tying things together in an unforced feeling way. And even in doing so, it doesn't feel like a complete explanation. I'm undecided between a B+ and A- grade.
