Luckily I don't have to go through an origin story or anything, I would consider the novels canon and can make references (complete with footnotes for readers). I'm sadden at the news of Lar's death.
She was a very kind person, I met her more than once over the years. Fun fact she lived just a few blocks from my home in Dallas.
We have lost a lot of stars too soon these last few years. Julian Sands, Tony Todd, Val Kilmer, and now Lar.
