Honestly, since the remake was practically a retelling of living Jason, I wouldn't mind if they did a sequel to the remake and rebooted the zombie era Jason.

Just not in the style of 8, JGTH or X. :p

Realistically, those are your choices moving forward unless you just want it left alone.

I am at the point where I would like to see one final definitive long story, rather than another start and stop.

The mystery is what makes it so great. A 10-part mini series is gonna have mommy and daddy drama or something. Explain Jason's dad was a deadbeat drunk wifebeater or some nonsense. Turns out Pamela is responsible for Jason's near-death drowning but blamed the counselors for some reason. It'll twist shit we already know about Jason, I'm sure of it.

I'd prefer it be left alone, but with 12 Jason movies, it's almost like you need just one more.

I don't want to see that, was more thinking about stability in a long story arc that the series has completely lost touch with. Was thinking an already adult and masked Jason, the mythical killer, and perhaps the team assigned to both see if he really exists and to possibly stop him.

Basically the movie JGTH should have been.

Yeah, but have you seen the way movies are made today? lol
Hire a writer who's likely never seen all the movies, write a half-assed script, slap a Jason mask on a poster and advertise it to the world. Money.

The only way it can work is if you hire real, genuine Friday the 13th fans. Taking to modern day Hollywood to get the project going is the last thing you want to do with a franchise that began 40 years ago.

That is why I don't want another movie series. I feel like we are gonna get quasi origins every 7 years or a total disaster like the Halloween series.

Btw, too bad we could not suck the life force out of JLC and give it to Donald Pleasance.

Because the only flipsude tp normal is abnormal and that is a very negative word or phrase so whilst I don’t know or get what neurotypical is, I get why they don’t say they have one normal kid and one trans kid. Obviously I’m still learning about all this so I’m trying to keep up. But my sister is normal. She’s trans, but she’s not an abnormal person and she wasn’t an abnormal child. Hence why I can see why they invent a term for it but I can’t figure out why that term is what it is or why they needed it.

We need to make "normal" seem like a diagnosis in the same way autism is. This way the autistic kids' parents don't feel bad or something.
Normal tends to complicate things as it is exclusionary. But beyond that I don’t follow much.
Why is that complicated?

The situation is was referring to is local parks are now building special areas within them for autistic kids. The parents of autistic kids are pissed because "neurotypical kids" are allowed in those areas.

Also kind of amazing how many parents drop their kids off into a cage full of other kids and then pay no attention.
I thought it was to do with transgender identities. Think I missed the point. Sorry.
