Re: NBA 2024-2025
Avs scored an own goal. Fuck. And now the Stars have every bit of momentum at home. All of a sudden this went from the Avs closing a shutout, to the Stars stealing the win. I hate this shit

Re: NBA 2024-2025
And now the fucking refs are giving the game to the Stars. Are you fucking kidding me...

Re: NBA 2024-2025
I would have expected this in the NBA. Un. Fucking. Real. Ruined the entire fucking night.

Re: NBA 2024-2025
I seriously can't believe the officials in the hockey game ruined this fucking night. What a fucking horrific end.

Re: NBA 2024-2025
Avs continuing to waste having two of the three best players in the sport, nice.
Re: NBA 2024-2025
Might as well have lost the Super Bowl tonight. Feels the same. Hurts worse when clearly (fucking CLEARLY) the better team lost and the refs decided to call a horse shit penalty at the end that ruined the game.So clearly not a fucking penalty. Totally ruined the Nuggets blowout.

Re: NBA 2024-2025
Let's make it worse, shall we?
Mikko Rantanen (dingleberry, with a dingleberry agent who totally fucked up negotiating a contract extension with the Avalanche) ends up getting traded to Dallas, plays mediocre throughout the regular season and playoffs until game 6 and 7, and in game 7 scores an empty net goal to get a hat trick against the Avalanche.
Kill me

I grew up loving those great early Avs teams and their 2022 run was special but they just don’t have the heart and will of a champion. Compare them to the Nuggets who fight like hell every year in the playoffs and pretty much always maximize their potential. I saw a team win that knows how to win in the toughest moments and I saw a team lose that gets punched in the mouth and wilts every year except for one perfect run. The Nuggets are tough. The Avs are soft.

4 goals in the 3rd period of the playoffs... Yeah that's an all time bed shitter.
Just say the word, El El Sucio, ohhhh!

Re: NBA 2024-2025
I disagree with this. They outshot and outscored Dallas all series, despite Dallas having one of the best goaltenders in the league. When it came down to it, game 7, the Avs goalie letting three slip by with 10 minutes before sealing the win is what killed them. They fought hard and deserved it (both teams did), but as it usually happens, it came down to goaltending and our guy picked the worst time to collapse. We bailed him out in game 6 but couldn't last night.Headhunter wrote: ↑Sun May 04, 2025 2:41 am I grew up loving those great early Avs teams and their 2022 run was special but they just don’t have the heart and will of a champion. However, they are definitely not the juggernaut they were in 2022. That's a fact and not even debatable.

Outshot and outscored has nothing to do with being soft pussies who wilt like daisies when they get popped in the mouth every year. The Avs are a soft finesse team.Jason wrote: ↑Sun May 04, 2025 12:48 pmI disagree with this. Re: NBA 2024-2025
The Avs were the more physical team throughout the series and are generally more physical in the playoffs than the teams they face. They're not soft at all and that is an extreme hot take. They played their asses off and came up short.Headhunter wrote: ↑Sun May 04, 2025 1:04 pmOutshot and outscored has nothing to do with being soft pussies who wilt like daisies when they get popped in the mouth every year. They are absolutely a soft ass team and I’m not sure why you are coping like this about these underachieving losers. They won’t win shit next year either.Jason wrote: ↑Sun May 04, 2025 1:05 pmThe Avs were the more physical team throughout the series and are generally more physical in the playoffs than the teams they face. Re: NBA 2024-2025
The Avs remind me of a lot of great NFL regular season passing offenses who play in domes all year. Get them outside in January and make them uncomfortable and they fold every time. That’s the Avs. One series win since 2022 is a disgrace. They’ll look awesome playing the Blackhawks in January next year though.
