I didn’t follow it when it was on. I liked the episodes I’ve seen but never did the deep dive.

Would also add the first 8 or so years of The Simpsons, Malcolm in the Middle, and Band of Brothers / The Pacific

It's Always Sunny was solid for 12 years. For comedy that may never be rivaled

Yeah they had a pretty special run. I didn’t include a good amount of comedies I’ve enjoyed, that could really be its own list. Arrested Development, Sunny and Curb consistently had me howling the most though

Hard to integrate sitcoms in with the serious dramas and epics. Even from a pure comedy standpoint it's hard to rank sitcoms. All in the Family and Seinfeld are prime favorites but the show that generated the most laughs and the hardest laughs for me has easily been South Park.

Yeah you end up making an arbitrary decision to rank the funniest vs best overall quality.

Excuse me, but what happened to the heroic exploits of one Alfred Jebediah Bundy? Slip your mind. I bet you cheered for Andrew Johnson High.. sickens and disgusts.

That makes the top 5 sitcoms. AITF, Seinfeld, South Park, Married With Children. Simpsons before it went to shit 20 years ago.
