Maxim’s “Megan Fox of Hollywood North” lands Black Eve

Bloody Disgusting has recently scored an exclusive first look at a new film titled ‘Black Eve’.

The film centers around a woman with psychic abilities, who retraces the last steps of her fellow guests at a Halloween party, in a closed down department store, who all turn up dead by morning.

SyFy finds their own Little Red

Shock Til You Drop has learned that SyFy has found their own Red Riding Hood in ‘Dr Horrible’s Sing-a-long Bog’ star Felicia Day. In the re-imagining, Day will portray a werewolf-hunting descendant of Little Red Riding Hood.

ComingSoon.net has learned, from the Oscars’ red carpet, that Amanda Seyfried is signed to star in Catherine Hardwicke’s (’Twilight’) upcoming ‘The Girl With the Red Riding Hood’ at Warner Bros. Pictures.

Leonardo DiCaprio’s Appian Way is behind this dark re-imagining of Little Red Riding Hood. The script was written by David Leslie Johnson.

Stephen King’s Pet Sematary gets a remake

The Hollywood Reporter has reported that screenwriter Matthew Greenburg (’1408′) is set to pen another Stephen King adaptation. This time it is a remake of the 1989 horror film ‘Pet Sematary’. Steven Schneider (’Paranormal Activity’, ‘Insidious’) will produce this new adaptation.

Stephen King’s 1983 novel, and the original film, centered on a family that moves from the big city to rural Maine, but soon finds that they’ve moved near a pet cemetery which rests on an ancient burial ground.

Synapse Films acquires The Dorm That Dripped Blood

Fangoria has learned, from Synapse Films, that the DVD company has acquired the 1982 horror film ‘The Dorm That Dripped Blood’.

In the film (starring a young Daphne Zuniga), a group of college students are helping prep the demolition of an old dorm when they begin getting picked off by a mysterious killer who uses a wide array of murder-methods.
