Variety is reporting that Filmax had pre-sold their rights for ‘Exorcismus’ from director Manuel Carballo. This includes UK rights to E1 Entertainment U.K., Vendetta in Australia, and an Italian licensing pact with MediaFilm.
Dark Sky Films has announced that their upcoming film, from director James Felix McKenney, ‘Hypothermia’ has begun filming.
The feature stars Michael Rooker (’Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer’), Blanche Baker (’The Girl Next Door’), Don Wood (’Automatons’), Greg Finley, and Amy Chang. Dark Sky is producing in partnership with Larry Fessenden’s Glass Eye Pictures.
Variety has reported that filmmaker Steven Soderbergh is now in talks with Marion Cotillard and Kate Winslet to join the cast of his upcoming film ‘Contagion’. Matt Damon and Jude Law have already signed to the picture.
