Sam Raimi’s “Drag Me to Hell” originally was reported to have placed third over the weekend at the box office. However, the film’s gross was adjusted from 16.6 million to 15.8 million on 2,900 screens. This adjustment put it just under Terminator: Salvation which pulled in 16.4 million in it’s second week.

Sam Raimi ’s new film, “Drag Me to Hell’s” trailers are calling the film his return to horror. Raimi is known to horror fans as the architect behind the Evil Dead Trilogy,  but his more recent fame has has been directing the Spider-Man franchise.
