It’s been revealed that the 1959 film ‘The Killer Shrews’ is getting a sequel, ‘Return of the Killer Shrews’. James Best, John Schneider, Jennifer Lyons, Jason Shane Scott, and Bruce Davison are set to star in the upcoming sequel.

The synopsis: A TV reality show hires Captain Thorne Sherman (Best) and his boat to ferry supplies to the deserted island filming location. As the TV crew and two-fisted animal expert Johnny Reno (Schneider) shoot their reality show, some of the cast and crew go missing, attacked and eaten in a bloody feeding frenzy by strange creatures. No one is prepared when they realize the place is crawling with giant Killer Shrews! The result of a 50-year-old experiment gone terribly wrong, the shrews are fast and ferocious, stripping the flesh from their screaming victims in seconds. When the Killer Shrews attack, they devour everything in their path. And they’re on the attack – now!
