Shock Til You Drop has reported, recently, that Anchor Bay Films will release Darren Lynn Bousman’s remake of ‘Mother’s Day’ to DVD and Blu-ray on May 8th, 2012.

The film stars Rebecca DeMornay, Jamie King, Brianna Evigan, Patrick John Flueger, Deborah Ann Woll, Frank Grillo, Lyriq Bent, and Shawn Ashmore.

Directed by Darren Lynn Bousman (’Repo the Genetic Opera!’, ‘Saw II, III and IV’) with screen story and screenplay by Scott Milam based on the original ‘Mother’s Day’ written by Charles Kaufman and Warren Leight, ‘Mother’s Day’ is a graphic remake of the Troma horror classic.

The ‘Mother’s Day’ Blu-ray and DVD feature an audio commentary with director Darren Lynn Bousman and actor Shawn Ashmore. Check out the trailer below.
