Bloody Disgusting has come across the short film ‘Beating Hearts’ by Matthew Garrett.
‘Beating Hearts’ is a harrowing take on family ties, true love and murder, the film described as “a sickening twist on the killer child subgenre” is a winner of the Director’s Choice Award (Best Short) at the 2011 Boston Underground Film Festival and the 2011 Philadelphia Geek Award for Best Local Short Film.
