The Hollywood Reporter has learned that Warner Brothers Television has picked up the rights for ‘Sandman’ from DC Comics.
The acclaimed comic book series was written by Neil Gaiman as part of DC Comic’s Vertigo imprint.
Studio execs at the WB are looking to Eric Kripke (’Supernatural’) to possibly run the upcoming series, though he’s not a lock. The show is still in very early development, so stay tuned for confirmation and more updates as they come.
