The Hollywood Reporter has reported that screenwriter Matthew Greenburg (’1408′) is set to pen another Stephen King adaptation. This time it is a remake of the 1989 horror film ‘Pet Sematary’. Steven Schneider (’Paranormal Activity’, ‘Insidious’) will produce this new adaptation.
Stephen King’s 1983 novel, and the original film, centered on a family that moves from the big city to rural Maine, but soon finds that they’ve moved near a pet cemetery which rests on an ancient burial ground.
