Screen Daily is reporting that a new film, titled ‘Hidden’, is in the works with principal photography set to begin later this month in Canada. ‘Hidden’ (not to be confused with the After Dark Films title from this years Horrorfest) marks the first Italian-made 3D feature.
‘Hidden’ is an Italy-Canada co-production and will be in English. The horror thriller is about an abandoned experimental medical centre that harbours a deadly secret. It only becomes known when a restoration project begins. John Sheele (who supervised effects work for Oliver Stone’s ‘World Trade Center’ among other features) will handle the 3D work for the film. Andrea Marotti is producing for ReDark with Andre Rouleau for Montreal based Caramel Films. Don Carmody (’Chicago’) is executive producer.
