‘Screen Daily has reported that a sequel to the Jack Ketchum adaptation ‘Offspring’, from director Andrew Van Den Houten, is in the works.
The upcoming film, titled ‘Offspring: The Woman’ will be directed by Lucky McKee (’May’, ‘The Woods’). ‘Offspring: The Woman’ centers on a disturbed lawyet who sets out to capture and tame the last surviving member of a violent clan that has terrorized the Northeast coast for decades.
Pollyanna McIntosh, who reprises her as “The Woman” from the earlier Ketchum adaptation, will be joined in the cast by frequent McKee collaborator Angela Bettis.
