Variety is reporting that Filmax had pre-sold their rights for ‘Exorcismus’ from director Manuel Carballo. This includes UK rights to E1 Entertainment U.K., Vendetta in Australia, and an Italian licensing pact with MediaFilm.
Written by David Munoz (’The Devil’s Backbone’), ‘Exorcismus’ concerns a possessed 15-year-old and the priest assigned to watch over her. The girl sets up a hidden camera in her bedroom to record his sessions with her. Doug Bradley, Sophie Vavasseur, Richard Felix, and Stephen Billington star in the supernatural horror film.
