Variety has reported that Lionsgate has signed a deal for the rights to ‘Buried’, an upcoming thriller from director Rodrigo Cortes.
The film centers on a private contractor (Ryan Reynolds) in Iraq who is buried alive and struggles to escape before his air runs out. The script for ‘Buried’ comes from Chris Sparling (’Balance’, ‘An Uzi at the Alamo’).
