Production weekly has recently reported that the upcoming prequel to John Carpenter’s 1982 film ‘The Thing’ (which we first mentioned here) is set to begin filming this March, in Toronto, and will wrap in June.
This prequel will be directed by Matthijs van Heigningen Jr. from a screenplay by ‘Battlestar Galactica’ exec producer Ronald D Moore and Eric Heisserer (’Nightmare on Elmstreet’ remake).
