Variety is reporting that Peter Cornwell (’The Haunting in Connecticut’) is set to direct an upcoming sci-fi horror film titled ‘The Panopticon’, for Lionsgate.
The feature is written by Craig Rosenberg (’The Uninvited’). Read on for the synopsis.
In ‘The Panopticon’, a salesmas receives a pre-recorded message from himself that tells him the world is about to end and only he can save it.
According to the Variety article, Lionsgate acquired the project as a spec, and will finance the film and control worldwide rights with the intention to put it into production next year.
