NightmareOnElmStreetMovie and Spoiler TV are reporting the new Nightmare on Elm Street film is in the process of casting to shoot some additional scenes.
As Rod Lane of NightmareOnElmStreetMovie writes,
”Re-shoots can sometimes mean bad news for a movie for a lot of different reasons; the studio didn’t like the final product, the test marketing went bad and so on… And now a new casting call discovered by Spoiler TV suggests that Samuel Bayer’s Elm Street is heading back to shoot some additional scenes. What do you think, is there trouble on Elm Street? And does anyone else find it weird that Bayer himself has been so quiet?”
Here is the casting call for the film;
[WAITRESS] 40s. She works at the diner with NANCY. She started working at the diner as a summer job 20 years ago and never left. PLEASE SUBMIT CHARACTER ACTORS WITH GREAT FACES (Two lines)
[DUTCH] 50s. The owner of a small-town American diner at which NANCY works. PLEASE SUBMIT CHARACTER ACTORS WITH GREAT WEATHERED FACES. (One line)
[TEENAGE GUY] Eating at the diner with JESSE, QUENTIN and a FRIEND, he tells QUENTIN that asking NANCY about the diner specials doesn’t count as talking to her. Please keep in mind that they must be playing high school age. Please submit all character types - from cool to charactery. (One line)
[FRIEND] Eating at the diner with JESSE, QUENTIN, and TEENAGE GUY, he asks what the point would be of getting to know someone when they all graduate in a few months anyway. Please keep in mind that they must be playing high school age. Please submit all character types - from cool to charactery. (One line)

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackThat is distressing news. However, reshoots don’t always mean a movie blew. I think this movie is getting shit on way too much in advance. People hate it already and have seen jack. Can’t enjoy it if they’ve made up their minds. I am against this being remade but I am still totally open to it, just like Hills Have Eyes, which went on to become my favourite horror movie of the decade.
Yeah but at least you have Aja and Craven behind The Hills Have Eyes remake. This film has an unproven director, Michael Bay at Exec and I know some people like some stuff the creative team behind this movie has done. Nut personally to me thus far the best they have done has been above average.
