cabinfever2In 2003, the world was introduced to Eli Roth with his first feature film, Cabin Fever. According to IMDB the film took in over 21 million dollars on an estimated 1.5 million dollar budget.

HorrorMovieFans reported back in September that the director of Cabin Fever 2, Ti West, isn’t a fan of his own work on the film.  West told UK FrightFest he wishes he could disown it. You can read our full story from earlier this year here. The film has been shelved by Lions Gate for a while but it looks like it will be finally getting a release.

The sequel has Paul (Rider Strong), the lone survivor from the first film trying to warn others of the infection. Before he can the diseased water hits a water bottling plant. A group of unsuspecting high school teens consuming the water are gearing up for prom with everyone drinking the water. The virus is about to break loose through the whole high school.
