Universal Pictures has announced that ‘The Wolfman’ has secured an R rating, from the MPAA, for “bloody horror, violence, and gore”.
The film, which stars Benicio Del Toro, is set for a February 12, 2010 release date. Like the 1941 original starring Lon Chaney, this film will be set in Victorian England. Del Toro will play a man who returns from America to his ancestral homeland, gets bitten by a werewolf, and begins a hairy moonlight existence.
