Bloody Disgusting has reported that Filmax is moving forward with a third [REC] film, while most have still yet to see the first sequel.

According to B-D, It is stated (translated from spanish), on the Facebook site for the film, that the film is “Confirmed a possible pre-production on the film. For now, both the script and the director of the film are being expected.”. The Facebook also teases “[REC] 3, 2011″.

Franchise creators/directors Jaume Balaguero and Paco Plaza have confirmed, via an exclusive interview with B-D, that they will not get behind the camera for this film, but will produce.
