Shock Til You Drop has learned that director Adam Green is officially onboard to write and direct the sequel to his 2006 slasher film ‘Hatchet’.
The writer-director recently wrapped the upcoming thriller ‘Frozen’, which will open in theaters in February 2010. and has already begun pre-production work on ‘Hatchet 2′. Shooting for the film is expected to start early next year, and Kane Hodder will make his return as Victor Crowley.

It’s finally happening. It’s going to have doube the body count and Anchor Bay is being cool enough to allow me to make the sequel I want to make.
