Hollywood Reporter has learned that DreamWorks exec-turned-screenwriter Marc Haimes has sold an original screenplay, titled ‘Jitters’, to Paramount Pictures. The film is said to be “a creepy family film in the early ’80s Amblin Mold” (like ‘Gremlins’).

‘Elevator Men’, another film scripted by Haimes’, has found a director in Fredrik Bond (who is also helming a remake of ‘The Host’). This film follows a single mother, in pursuit of Mr. Right, who ends up meeting a horrific creature in human guise.
