Bloody Disgusting has learned that ‘Deadgirl’ writer Trent Haaga is prepping his directorial debut, with the indie thriller ‘Chop’.
The upcoming film centers on a seemingly innocent young couple, forced by a psychotic stranger to confront their duplicitous past. It’s a revenge thriller wit ha comedic edge in the tradition of ‘Fargo’ and ‘Oldboy’.
‘Chop’ is being produced by Chad Ferrin and Jeff Hamilton and stars powerhouse indian actress Tanishaa Mukherji and newcomer Billy Bakshi.
Cameras start rolling on Nov 11 in Los Angeles.
