The Hollywood Reporter has learned that Simon West Production is at work on a 3D CGI interpretation of George A. Romero’s classic zombie film ‘Night of the Living Dead’.
The upcoming film, titled ‘Night of the Living Dead: Origins’, is helmed and co-written (along with David R. Schwartz) by director Zebediah de Soto, and will serve as an update to the original by fleshing out the backstories of the characters.
In addition, director De Soto calls the upcoming film “an American-style anime”.
