The Hollywood Reporter has learned of a new film coming from After Dark Films, titled ‘Husk’. The film is based on a short film by Brett Simmons who is set to reprise his duties as writer and director.
According to THR, the story sees five friends on a weekend trip who become stranded in isolated farmland when crows attack their SUV. They soon realize that the cornfields are inhabited by reanimated human scarecrows who reproduce by killing and forcing their undead victims to join their ranks.
Shock Til You Drop has received word that this is the first of a series of original films After Dark Films is moving on and that news on the other projects should be coming soon.
