The Los Angeles Times has recently reported that the Weinstein Company is expecting a 2010 release for the follow-up to Rob Zombie’s ‘Halloween 2′, which opened this past weekend.
The upcoming movie will be filmed in 3D, and is to be titled Halloween 3D. Weinstein Company co-chairman Bob Weinstein has stated that Rob Zombie will not be returning for this sequel, but that negotiations are underway, with a new director, who has experience in horror and has a different take on the franchise.
