Variety is reporting that action star Jason Statham is in final negotiations for a lead role in ‘Blitz’.
Statham will play a tough. uncomprising cop assigned the task of tracking a serial killer, who is targeting police officers in London. Elliot Lester will be directing from a screenplay by Nathan Parker, and based on a bestselling novel by Ken Bruen. Lionsgate will be fully financing the project.
