Bloody Disgusting is reporting that ‘Tomie’ is going to be remade for American audiences, and that Paul Schrader (writer of ‘Taxi Driver’ and ‘Raging Bull’) will be penning the script.
‘Tomie’ is described as a supernatural ‘Fatal Attraction’, when a young man brings his fiancee home for the first time, his father is stunned. She’s the same girl he loved- and killed - 25 years ago. Now she wants him back. Tomie pits father against son in a deadly battle for her love.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a Trackbackhonestly, this will be the first remake/American sequel I’d be happy for. the Tomie movies are mainly HARD HIT or a sad sad miss. really, its just one of those series in which you can’t truely mess up (since a lot of the films don’t have solid continuation)
so far, I’m still waiting for Tomie Vs Tomie to get an official R1/R0 release.
