Variety is reporting that Adrien Brody, Forest Whitaker, Elijah Wood, and Cam Gigandet are signed to star in ‘The Experiment’, a remake of the German thriller ‘Das Experiment’.
‘Prison Break’ creator Paul Scheuring is directing, from a screenplay he wrote, for Magnet Media Group and Inferno Entertainment.
The original film centered on a group of ordinary men recruited to take on the roles of guards and prisoners as part of a research study and examined how the effects of assigned roles, power, and control affected the participants.
Filming is set to begin, in Iowa, next month.
