The Hollywood Reporter has learned that Danielle Panabaker (’Friday the 13th’ remake, ‘Mr Brooks’, ‘Sky High’) has signed on to ‘The Ward’, the upcoming film from John Carpenter.
Panabaker joins a cast which includes Amber Heard, and Marnie Gummer. Michael and Shawn Rasmussen wrote the script (with revisions by Jim Agnew and Sean Keller) which follows a girl who is admitted to a psychiatric ward, meets other girls there with distinct personalities and discovers a mysterious girl haunting the halls at night.
