As shown first by JoBlo, below are the new pictures of Freddy Krueger, pre-burned from the set of Platinum Dunes’ Nightmare on Elm Street (2010). These pictures are Freddy pre-burned, shots of the playground, white picket fence, school, and jump roping girls.
Jackie Earle Haley is the actor though it is hard to tell. The scene is hinted of being an early Freddy which indicates why he isn’t burned. His red and green sweater looks to have been replaced.
As JoBlo reported the kids in the scene steal Freddy’s hat and glove and Freddy chases the kids around with gardening tools. The pictures are not of great quality and look like they could have been taken from a cell phone. The pictures much like other stills we get from films early on don’t show much. Those that are really psyched about this film may get a kick but I don’t see too much to note here.
Samuel Bayer’s Nightmare on Elm Street (2010) is currently filming and is tentatively set for release April 16th, 2010.

I hear he gets the more traditional shirt later on in the film.
I am cool with him not wearing the sweater in the flashbacks. Its not like he is fucking Gilligan and has to wear the same shirt all the time.
Also, lets be honest about the sweater’s primary function from the original. It was to keep the cost down of getting Englund into make-up, as it covered his arms and fit snug so they only had to make-up his head, neck, and hand.
The hair also looks like a wig. Similar to Kevin Bacon’s in Hollowman.
