This week’s selection is  2009’s Laid to the Rest. The film centers on a young woman with amnesia that soon realizes she was kidnapped by a deranged killer. Trapped in a small town she must fight for survival and win this game of cat and mouse.

Bobbi Sue Luther plays the amnesia-ridden young woman. Luther is a newcomer but had a bit part in Robert Englund’s directorial turn in  Killer Pad. Luther is notable for also being cast in the upcoming Night of the Demons remake. Rounding out the cast is a group of familiar character actors; Kevin Gage, Lena Headley, Sean Whalen, Richard Lynch, Jonathan Schaech and Thomas Dekker.  Laid to Rest is from writer-director Robert Hall.
