Fright Night, another fun horror gem that you can never go wrong rewatching, has realized just how popular it might be. IGN reports that the horror-comedy may be getting the remake treatment. Admittedly these days saying a film is being remade is like saying air is being breathed. It almost seems standard. This film so far looks no different. Michael Gaeta, Alison Rosenzweig, and Michael De Luca have all been attached as producers. They have been linked with the remakes of Angel Heart and The Reincarnation of Peter Proud previously. There are no real casting details, but one has to wonder if there can ever be any casting news that will top the performance of Roddy McDowall.
