IESB has reported that Scott Milam (writer for ‘Bedlam’, ‘Mother’s Day’ remake) is set to pen the film adaptation of Dark Horse Comics’ graphic novel ‘The Secret’, for Universal Pictures.

The series is described as a coming of ange mystery. It focuses on a young man who is invited to attend a high profile high school party. A prank is set in motion, however, and the girl of his dreams goes missing drawing him deep into a plot surrounding her disappearance.

The comic mini-series was written by Mike Richardson and illustrated by Jason Alexander (’Damn Nation’)
