Shock Til You Drop has reported, recently, that Declan O’Brien (’Wrong Turn 3′) is onboard to direct a remake of Roger Corman’s 1960 film ‘The Little Shop of Horrors’.

O’Brien is keeping pretty tight-lipped on details about the film but he did have this to say.

I just optioned the remake rights.

We’re going to set that up as a studio feature.

I have a take on it you’re not going to expect. I’m taking it in a different direction, let’s put it that way.

The upcoming film will be produced by Roger Corman along with Andrew Tennenbaum, a producer for ‘The Bourne Identity’.
