Moviehole has recently reported that Elizabeth Shue is the first cast in Alexandre Aja’s upcoming remake of Piranha. Shue is set to play Sheriff Julia Forester - a take charge authority figure in the community of Lake Victoria, where the film takes place. Forester is also the mother of one of the main characters in the film.
