Variety has learned that Simon Hunter (’The Mutant Chronicles’) has signed as director for the horror-thriller ‘Curve’, which was written by Kimberly Johnson, through Benderspink and Solipsist Films. Read on for a short synopsis.

A woman offers a ride to a good Samaritan after he helps her fix her car. When the man tries to attack her, she attempts an emergency maneuver that lands her trapped in her car in a ravine, with the man waiting for her to weaken.

Eva Mendes was originally set to star in the film, before some “slight revisions” to the script, but it is unclear if she is still attached to ‘Curve’.
