The Hollywood Reporter has news on a new horror film coming from Fred Durst, who is currently promoting his first film ‘The Education of Charlie Banks’.
Durst’s upcoming film is titled ‘Psycho Killer’, which was penned by Andrew Kevin Walker (’Seven’, ‘Sleepy Hollow’, ‘The Wolfman’). Read on for what he had to say of the project.
It’s not a throwaway slasher genre film. It’s a very smart, really compelling story about a serial kiler on a mission for Satan. It’s really interesting and the way it’s written - It’s so unique. Andy is an incredible writer. It looks like we’re going to go into production around August.

Actually Durst has already done a horror movie. Population 436, http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0462482/, was his first supporting role in a horror movie.
Oh for fucks sake. Who gives a shit about Fred Durst? The guy’s a fucking douchebag from a shit band and now he’s gonna be a douchebag in shit films.
Seriously though, “compelling story about a serial killer on a mission for Satan” sounds goofy as hell. If Durst wasn’t attached, I’d watch it just to see if it actually is compelling or just plain cheesy.
Can’t they just play some of his old videos? Those were pretty horrifying.
What the Hell???
This sounds like the novel i’ve been trying to write for the past 5 years.
I’m not kidding I started to write my story like this in my final days of High School and I still have it saved on my hard disk and let people read my 1st draft, I could sue THOSE BASTARDS!!!!
I’d buy that for a dolla!
