As ShockTilYouDrop.com reports, ABC is prepping a TV Series of The Witches Of Eastwick, with Jaime Ray Newman (Supernatural) cast as the first of the three witches.  Judging by her picture (I don’t recognize her from Supernatural, but I did miss the first season) she looks to be filling the shoes of Michelle Pheifer’s role, but who know’s with hair dye?

My hopes are that this will be far more interesting than WB’s Charmed, a show that managed to have Alyssa Milano in a skimpy gold mermaid outfit and still be completely uninteresting.  I’m also stunned that ABC thinks that they can pull this off.  Who’ll they get for Darryl?  Anyone who can come close to the charisma of Jack Nicholson probably wouldn’t appear on TV anyway…does Christian Slater still need work?
