The Hollywood Reporter has learned that ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ music video director Samuel Bayer has signed on to helm the remake of ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’ for Platinum Dunes. Production for the film is expected to start this spring,- from a script by Wesley Strick (Cape Fear).
