Bloody Disgusting has learned that Chad Feehan (producer of ‘All the Boys Love Mandy Lane’) is readying his directorial debut ‘Kindling’, with a cast that includes Josh Stewart (The Haunting of Molly Hartley) and Angela Featherstone (Soul Survivors). Kindling is scheduled to begin filming this March in California.
The story centers around Paul O’Kelly and his girlfriend, who take a cross country trip along Route 66. Along the way, Paul stops at a rundown motel, where he is forced to remember the darkest secret of his past and confront the consequences of his actions in surreal and terrifying ways.

I’m normally down for road-trip horror, but this sounds more like confessional lameness than road-horror though.
