I think the poster is nice.  It’s simple, and I like the muted color usage with the stark red for the title.  I complain about the overuse of the damned machete, and would’ve requested something unique there.  Hell, even an axe would do.  Or a bloody water sprinkler.  A knot of barbed wire drags behind him to a hint of a body wrapped in it.  Anything but a machete.

As for the trailer, I thought it looked pretty good.  For a trailer.  I was tricked with the lackluster Texas Chainsaw remake when that had good trailers, so I remain cautious.  The chick that was water-skiing (or whatever she was doing) had no booty to see, but I like the kinda retro style bikini she wore.  But I love my boy Jason, and I’m there as long as he’s on screen, and doing what he does best.
