Fangoria has reported that Bluewater Comics has signed a deal with Lionsgate to produce two new horror comic book series’, based around ‘Warlock’ and ‘Leprechaun’.

The ‘Warlock’ story will center on the title sorcerer’s attempts to destroy a book containing a spell that has imprisoned six others of his kind. If he succeeds. they will be freed to bring evil and mayhem upon the world. and it’s up to a small group to stop him. Nick Lyons, who’s penning the story. explains ‘Warlock’ will appeal to both fans of the franchise and readers who know nothing about the films. Jacob Bear and John Hunt are drawing and coloring the series, respectively. while Matt Bellisle will conjure up alternative covers.

Revenge will be the motive of the Leprechaun’s murderous mayhem in the saga written by Zach Hunchar and drawn by Kris Carter. Lubdan, The last of the dimunitive demons, has had his gold stolen by a treasure hunter who sells it through on-line auctions. The Cluracan, a warlike race with genocidal intentions, has helped the thief find the gold, as a curse has been placed that renders Lubdan weal amd dying without his wealth. Lubdan tracks down the robber once the gold has been distributed throughout the world and, with the help of a the buyers, must trek across the Earth to reclaim what is his before time runs out.
