A little late, but hell yes!!

Since I live in a small town with about 20,000, people get away with a lot of shit. NO ONE shuts off their phones, even when told to, people are in huge clicks and talking throughout a movie, and chose to go to a theater because it’s the only place there parents will let them go because they are 13.

I think theater staff should question people before and after the movie, and if you fail the movie quiz, you die, slowly and painfully.

It’s because dropping pre-teens and young teens off at the movies is the new form of lazy parenting replacing letting TV raise your kids. These kids are so delighted to not their parents around they act like total assclowns.

A lot of the younger teens in particular live on their cell phones. I know my sister who is 15 will go to the movies with her friends and text the whole time. A year or 2 ago she would complain that she was left out when she went to the movies because she was the only one without a phone and couldn’t text. Why go see a movie if you aren’t going to watch it? Sit at home and text then. When me and mike went to a fright night screening for motor city nightmares, the theater experience was completely obnoxious. They had lazor pointers on the screen at every moment none of which were very appealing and yelled at the screen the whole time. It was encouraged and these were mostly the people that made the movies so there wasn’t anything to really be done about it.

Indeed, people are just a bunch of fucking assholes who don’t give two shits about anything other than themselves. It’s one of the main reasons I never go to the theater unless it’s something I’ve been dying to see. Even then, I’ll wait a few weeks so all the fucknuts will have come and gone.
