Bloody Disgusting got some news on a new indie horror comedy titled ‘Black Betty’. The film stars Jonathan Glasgow, Krista Lien, and Chelsi Sno and is in pre-production. Read on for the official synopsis.

Betty Brewer has always been an outcast at her high school and has always dreamed of being able to exact some vengeance on her cruel classmates. One night after school her prayers were answered, in the form of a vicious vampire attack that left her her something more powerful than she could of ever thought. With her new found strength, Betty begins to convert her fellow school rejects into a vampire army to take ravage her school prom. However Betty’s childhood crush and his pesky girlfriend have caught wind of Betty’s planed night of chaos and terror. They won’t go down without a fight which Betty is oh so willing to give them.
